You’re invited to our November Literacy Month event, highlighting the Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation! Date: November 7th Time: 6:00 p.m. Cost: $25.00 Introduction by: Bill Hanna and Trish Morelli (Past Executive Director of the Foundation) Special Guest: Author Jean Becker About Jean Becker: Jean Becker served as Chief of Staff for George H.W. Bush from 1994 to 2018, managing key events such as the George Bush Presidential Library Center opening and the USS George H.W. Bush commissioning. She also coordinated special projects like the Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund. Previously, she was Deputy Press Secretary to First Lady Barbara Bush and edited her memoirs. Jean has authored several books, including "The Man I Knew" and her latest, "Character Matters." She is active on various boards, including Points of Light and the George and Barbara Bush Foundation, and lives in Houston, Texas. Join us for an evening dedicated to celebrating literacy and the impactful work of the Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation. We look forward to seeing you!

Murder Mystery Dinner - Til Death Do Us Part Friday, November 15 Dinner Starts at 6 p.m. | Mystery Starts at 7 p.m. $50 per person The birds are chirping, the sun is shining, but the wedding bells aren’t ringing for this not-so-happy couple when a member of the wedding party is murdered! With a raging bridezilla and an unenthused groom on the scene, it may be happily never after in this nuptial nightmare. Trade clues with your guests and help the hapless couple figure out whodunnit so they can say I do before the wedding hour passes them by!
