About Allen
Allen Fredrickson is originally from Oregon and moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he attended high school and college. He moved to Las Vegas in 1996 and has experience in managing a variety of restaurants throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Including Vegas strip favorites like Pink Taco at Hard Rock and Lavo at The Palazzo. Allen joined Canyon Gate in 2009 as the Food and Beverage Director. In 2012, Allen left Canyon Gate to become Anthem Country Club LV’s Food and Beverage Director. He returned to Canyon Gate in 2015. In December 2016, Allen became the Club's General Manager. He enjoys golfing, football, food & wine, and spending time with his wife and two sons.

New York born and raised. 24 years and originally from Long Island. I am a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I’ve resided in New York City, Phoenix and San Diego before getting married to my lovely wife, D, in 2017. We relocated to Las Vegas in 2018 and still reside in Mountain’s Edge. We have the three best cockapoo pups at home, Oakley, Kobe & Brunson. I enjoy vacationing, eating out, watching sports and golfing. I am a sucker for reality tv. Prior to joining Canyon Gate in 2022, I was previously employed with the New York Yankees, San Diego Padres, Las Vegas Raiders, Vegas Golden Knights and Rock Creek Cattle Company where I held various sales roles.

Marina was born in Boston, Massachusetts but has lived in Las Vegas for the majority of her life. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Hospitality Management with an emphasis in Meetings & Events. After falling in love with events from a young age, she started working for various staffing & event execution companies including Norton National, Blue Man Group, and Highgate Hotels. Marina was previously the coordinator for private events at Canyon Gate and always hoped her future would lead her back to become the Director here as she loves everything about the venue. When she is not working, you can catch her at any country music concert or sporting events with her husband, Devo.

Sierra was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Her favorite thing growing up was going to Disneyland and the beach with her parents. She moved to Las Vegas in 2018 to attend The University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management. Before completing her bachelor’s degree, she previously worked with a wedding company for three years. Her favorite thing about wedding day is seeing all the dedication and detail come to life, aside from seeing the love from the bride and groom. She looks forward to applying her degree and recent experiences at Canyon Gate.

About Hannah
Hannah is from the small town of Brookings, South Dakota, where she grew up and later graduated from South Dakota State University. Her degree is in Hospitality Management with minors in Event & Facilities Administration and Management. The summer after graduating from SDSU, Hannah moved to Phoenix, AZ to complete an internship at Phoenix Country Club; this is where she fell in love with the Club industry! Following her time at Phoenix Country Club, Hannah also had the pleasure of working at Desert Mountain Club (where she met her now husband), and later, Blackstone Country Club. Hannah’s husband was relocated to Las Vegas for his career, which is what brought Hannah to Canyon Gate Country Club. Hannah has a beautiful daughter, Vivienne, who was welcomed into the world on June 16, 2023. In her free time, Hannah enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with family & friends.

Born in the sunny deserts of Tucson, Arizona, Hunter has called Las Vegas home for over 15 years. Hunter recently earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies from UNLV. She's eager to assist in continuing to elevate the Member Experience for Canyon Gate Members. Hunter's previous roles as a Sales Coordinator and Media Marketing Coordinator at Marriott Hotels have equipped her with valuable insights and ignited a profound passion for the world of hospitality. When Hunter isn't running around Canyon Gate, she's out exploring the city with friends, being a homebody with her cat Loki, and revisiting her Arizona roots to spend quality time with family.
Brandon Johnson

About Brandon
Brandon Johnson was born and raised in Olympia, Washington. He grew up playing basketball and baseball, and it wasn’t until his dad took him to the driving range, the summer before high school, where he developed a passion for golf. By his Senior year, he was a top amateur in Washington and went on to play for Walla Walla Community College, which ranked as the best golf team for a Junior College in the Pacific Northwest. Brandon moved to Las Vegas in 2006 to continue to work on his game and attend UNLV where he earned a degree in Professional Golf Management. During that time, he gained an interest in teaching, and became a PGA certified teaching professional who has worked at a few different courses across the Valley. Before landing this great teaching opportunity at Canyon Gate, Brandon spent 4 years as the Lead Instructor at Topgolf Las Vegas where he taught everything from individual lessons to large clinics and corporate outings.

About Christopher "CJ"
Christopher "CJ" Schmid is from Los Angeles, California and has been involved in golf his whole life. CJ was introduced to the game at the age of four and while he played multiple sports growing up, golf was always his passion as he played in junior events and team events all the way through high school. CJ spent some time working in sports journalism before working in golf full time, where he has been teaching for over six years in both California and Nevada at public clubs, private clubs, and with GOLFTEC. When he is not at the club, CJ is also a UNLV Professional Golf Management alumnus and active within the local golf community and coaches the Faith Lutheran Girls Golf team in the fall. With this background, CJ is versed in golf swing biomechanics, flight monitor data, club fitting, and golf instruction for all ages and skill levels to better help improve your game!

About Jeff
Jeff Lezon is a Certified Golf Course Superintendent originally from Clarksville, Tennessee. He served in the U.S. Air Force as an Emergency Medical Technician and then as a Crew Chief on a KC-10 Refueling Aircraft. After his service, Jeff got an undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University in Agriculture. In 2015 he continued his education and earned his Master's degree in Turf Management from Pennsylvania State University. Jeff has constructed/grown four golf courses, two in the USA and two in South Korea. In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Jinny, golfing, hunting, camping, hiking, and biking.

Crombie Hatfield was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in South Africa. After graduating high school he spent two years in the Army. At age 20, Crombie left for Europe where he spent almost two years teaching tennis in Austria.While playing tournaments in Europe, he was recruited by UNLV and received a full tennis scholarship. After college, he returned to South Africa where he successfully managed his own tennis school for over 10 years.Crombie returned to the United States and became the Head Tennis Pro at Red Rock Country Club and at The Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe in San Diego. In 2012, Crombie accepted the Director of Tennis at Canyon Gate.Crombie, his wife Cally and their two daughters, Kate and Mia all play and enjoy tennis.

Courtney is originally from the heart of Indiana but made a bold leap westward to escape the snowy Indiana winters. With a background in collegiate Tennis and Track, this laid the foundation for her passion for pickleball. Courtney spent 5 years as a dedicated 5th-Grade teacher in the Las Vegas Valley. Her impact extended beyond the classroom as she established and led a pickleball club for her students. In the realm of pickleball, Courtney's dedication holds strong. She is a Certified Level 1 Pickleball Instructor per the IPTPA as well as a Level 5.0 Competitor. Courtney is a valuable asset to our Racquet Sports team & showcases her passion for pickleball on and off the court!

Vince Brown was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where he became a 6 Time Iowa Golden Gloves Boxing Champion.After, Vince fought in the 1984 and 1988 Western Olympic Trials Box Off Tournament and on the undercard of Oscar Dela Hoya along with Floyd Mayweather at Thomas & Mack Arena in Las Vegas Nevada in 1997. About Jeff
Jeff Allen is originally from Upstate New York; just south of Buffalo. He earned degrees in Hospitality Management from Paul Smith’s College and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has managed Food and Beverage Teams in hotels, restaurants, country clubs, and casinos in Las Vegas, Fort Lauderdale, and Long Island. Jeff was the Opening Director of Food and Beverage at TPC Las Vegas and supervised the food and beverage program for three PGA Tour events at TPC Las Vegas and TPC Summerlin. He was the Senior Director of Food and Beverage Operations at Reflection Bay Golf Club and most recently managed Old Homestead Steakhouse and The Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace. Jeff is very passionate about providing excellent member and guest satisfaction. He is a high profile manager that comfortably engages with members and guests. Jeff is an avid golfer who has had the opportunity to play 485 golf courses. He is an enthusiastic sports and entertainment fan that also enjoys traveling, spending time with his son, and exploring the Las Vegas Valley and surrounding areas.

Robert was born and raised in Bass Lake, CA. He moved from Bass Lake to Las Vegas over 6 years ago with his family. Robert has been in the Food and Beverage industry for over 20 years. He has spent most of that time managing banquets, along with multiple bars and restaurants. Robert started out his banquet career with the main global leader in hospitality and food & beverage management company, Delaware North Companies. Even though he has worked in bars and restaurants, his passion is in banquets. He loves to see an event come together from beginning to end. When Robert is not at work, he loves to be with his wife, two teenage boys, and his little girl. His favorite things to do are BBQ, watch football, and watch the Golden Knights

Drey was raised in Queens, NYC. He started out as a busboy in the restaurant industry at the age of 16 where he worked at Don Peppes (yes, the one from HBO's Entourage). He quickly moved through the ranks from Prep, Runner, Bar, Server, Expo, Maitre D, Manager, Sommelier, etc. He made his way out to Vegas and has been fortunate to work alongside Sommeliers at the Venetian, Mixologists at Southern Wine, and other industry professionals that have helped elevate his insight and understanding of the Service Industry. He has been working at Canyon Gate since 2018 and could not be more thrilled with the team and Members.

About Jeremy
A Native of Hawai'i, Chef's introduction to food was assisting all of his Ohana (Family) with gatherings through a melting pot of ethnic foods such as Polynesian, Hawaiian, Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, Korean & Portuguese. He was determined and motivated to elevate his knowledge in a larger arena. He made the move from Hawai'i to Las Vegas where he worked at Todd's Unique Dinning and a few casinos where he gained additional culinary skills with American, Italian and Latin cuisines. As Chef navigated through his career path, he was very interested in "Fine Dining". He packed up his knives, relocated to Southern California and accepted a Sous Chef position at Marché Moderne in Orange County, CA. His humble talents created his promotion to Chef de Cuisine at Marché Moderne where he worked under acclaimed French Chef/Owners Florent & Amelia Marneau for 12 years. He refined his craft and mastered the art of modern fine dining in rustic French and modern American cuisine.

About Adrian
Adrian was born in Long Beach, California and moved to Las Vegas at the age of five. He is the oldest sibling to two brothers and one sister. He says he kind of fell into cooking because his mother worked a lot, and he had to step up to help take care of his younger siblings. Adrian went to college at Truckee Meadows in Reno after transferring from job corps on a Culinary Degree and CSN. He then moved back to Las Vegas to learn as much as possible while working for over 10 years on the Las Vegas Strip. He is looking forward to all he will learn while working with Chef Jeremy! Adrian's favorite food to cook is Hispanic food because of the seasonings, smell, simplicity, and the talent required. In his free time, Adrian enjoys spending time with his two children, a seven-year-old daughter, Azalea and a five-year-old son, Sincere. His goal is to improve himself daily because he hopes his children will grow to be as proud of him as he is of them.
